R/C Boats

Radio-controlled boats are small boats controlled remotely with radio control equipment. There are two main types of RC boat: the sailing boat and the power boat. The latter is the more popular amongst toy grade models.
Within both 'types' of RC boats there are sub- classifications, just as with full scale boats. For example, there are racing vessels, pleasure craft and work boats to name a few. In addition there are 'scale' boats and 'non- scale' (sport, racing, etc.) boats. 'Scale' being a detailed replica of a full size vessel that is constructed to a fractional size or 'scale' version of the original full size vessel. 'Non-scale' being an approximate re-creation of an existing vessel or a completely new vessel. Both scale and non-scale boats can be of the racing, pleasure or work boat stylings.
